Surat 45 verse16

And We did certainly give the Children of Israel the Scripture and judgement and prophethood, and We provided them with good things and preferred them over the worlds.

And when the anger subsided in Moses, he took up the tablets; and in their inscription was guidance and mercy for those who are fearful of their Lord.


And Musa (Moses) chose out of his people seventy (of the best) men for Our appointed time and place of meeting, and when they were seized with a violent earthquake, he said: "O my Lord, if it had been Your Will, You could have destroyed them and me before; would You destroy us for the deeds of the foolish ones among us? It is only Your Trial by which You lead astray whom You will, and keep guided whom You will. You are our Wali (Protector), so forgive us and have Mercy on us, for You are the Best of those who forgive.


And decree for us in this world [that which is] good and [also] in the Hereafter; indeed, we have turned back to You." [Allah] said, "My punishment - I afflict with it whom I will, but My mercy encompasses all things." So I will decree it [especially] for those who fear Me and give zakah and those who believe in Our verses -


Classification III

And ask them (O Muhammad SAW) about the town that was by the sea, when they transgressed in the matter of the Sabbath (i.e. Saturday): when their fish came to them openly on the Sabbath day, and did not come to them on the day they had no Sabbath. Thus We made a trial of them for they used to rebel

These are the only ones mentioned in the verse (and you have taught those of you who transgressed on the Sabbath, and we said to them, Be monkeys, losers, Surah al-Baqarah 65).

In addition, the description in the previous verse of the word "monkeys" may be a linguistic metaphor that only denotes blind imitation without thinking (as most Salafists do in our time!)In general, the verse in all possibilities speaks only of the people of a particular village at a specific time and place and does not speak of the generality of the "children of Israel".

Jabal ibn Jawwal (Arabic: جبل بن جوال بن صفوان بن بلال الذبياني الثعلبي اليهودي

) was a Jewish writer who wrote in the Arabic language during the seventh hundred years. He was a contemporary of Muhammad.

As indicated by ibn Hisham (Kitab Sirat Rasul Allah, ed. Wüstenfeld, pp. 690, 713) and Abu al-Faraj al-Isfahani ("Kitab al-Aghani," viii. 104), Jabal was a Tha'alabite (Abu al-Faraj gives the entire lineage), however neither of them makes reference to the way that he was a Jew. They obviously don't frame a total sonnet; for ibn Hajar (l.c.) quotes a refrain of Jabal's not showing up in that frame of mind of Ibn Hisham, but rather having a similar meter and a similar rhyme, and thusly likely from a similar sonnet.

)”Surat 4 “women “ verse (136)

O you who have believed, believe in Allah and His Messenger and the Book that He sent down upon His Messenger and the Scripture which He sent down before. And whoever disbelieves in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, and the Last Day has certainly gone far astray.
